Latest News The Poet's Pen Poetry Competition St Petrocs is excited to introduce “The Poet’s Pen” a project developed in partnership with The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce. We are launching a poetry competition and are inviting you to submit your poems on the theme of Home. The deadline for this is midnight, Monday 26th April 2021. We would love to invite you to engage with this project. Please do extend the invitation and share with your employees, colleagues, clients, friends, and families. About the Project The project will celebrate the diverse and rich business community in Cornwall yet will help raise awareness of some of the challenges faced by the community in Cornwall, as we leave lockdowns and enter a post-Covid19 world. During this last year, many of us have transformed our homes into, offices, gyms and classrooms. We have all had to adapt to the new ‘normal’ or as we like to call it the ‘current’. Each of us have all had a unique experience based on our individual circumstances, but what we all have had in common is that we have a place to call home. Therefore, we have chosen Home as the theme to run throughout the competition. The winning poems will be published across various channels. The poems will form a way of reaching wider audiences across Cornwall to extend these messages and ultimately bringing people together. Let us all join together in this celebration of creativity, our diverse Cornish businesses community, and our rich identity in Cornwall.
