We’re doing things differently this Christmas

This year due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation we have made the decision not to accept shoeboxes this Christmas.

Infection rates are on the rise in Cornwall, and our paramount concern is to protect the health of our clients, staff and volunteers. By not receiving physical donations, including Christmas shoe boxes, we are able to limit contact and possible contamination points. We can reduce visitors to our resource centres and overall reduce risks.

Rest assured we will still be continuing to look after our clients this Christmas and will work to ensure they have what they need at Christmas.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we receive from the Cornish community and beyond, and we hope that you understand and respect our decision.

If anybody would like to contribute items directly to St Petrocs, instead of via the Shoeboxes we would welcome you to look at our Amazon Wishlist, all the items that would be suggested contents for a shoebox are on that list. We feel we can better manage parcels than shoeboxes this year.

Alternatively you can make a donation to St Petrocs via localgiving which enables us to continue our work.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we continue to navigate the ongoing pandemic.
