Our Resource Centres are spaces where you can come and access the one-to-one housing support you need with our experienced staff. The support services are available as drop-in sessions each day of the week (details below), or appointments are made for assessments and other in-depth work.
St Petrocs is about far more than helping you find accommodation. Alongside our essential services as noted above, we can also provide access to a GP and health services, and we have a range of other activities, run by volunteers, which include art workshops and a coffee corner, or just sit and spend time with others while you recharge your phone, read a book, use the WIFI or have some food.
If there is something we are not able to directly help with the team are able to refer into other local specialist services, including but not limited to; drug and alcohol, domestic violence, and ex-services personnel. We work with and welcome those who have no resource to public funds and have no entitlement to the majority of welfare benefits.
Please be assured that language is not a barrier, if required we can make provisions to seek an interpreter to help with communications. Pets are not left out either, and we can link in with Streetvet or Dogs Trust if you come with a companion.
When you walk through the door for the first time at one of our resource centres you'll be entering a non-judgemental environment and will be met by a friendly face who will book you in and find out what services you need. We want to you to feel safe and relaxed and all our staff are fully trained and will aim to put you at ease.
No two days are the same at our resource centres! The team have experienced all sorts of situations and predicaments, and so all challenges presented are dealt with by a wealth of knowledge and experience.
If you have any identity documents please bring these with you as they will assist us in the delivery of our services.
However, we will still provide a warm welcome and support regardless of whether you have ID, and in the event your ID has been lost we can help with obtaining duplicate documents.

The route to homelessness is not linear and often a number of factors push people in this direction, but homelessness is rarely the final destination on someone's journey. Every individual has a different story and it's often complex.
