StreetDraw runs arts-based events, exhibitions, creative projects, and talks, to help us all see where we live through fresh eyes and to support people facing or experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness.

See below for what StreetDraw 2024 looks like so far…

CAMBORNE DRAW

Our 2nd Camborne 24-hour drawing event and exhibition will be hosted once again by our friends at the wonderful Create CIC. The draw will be Fri 20th-Sat 21st September, noon to noon, in aid of St Petrocs’ work with people facing homelessness. Exhibition dates to be confirmed.

HOPE FOR CORNWALL

An exciting collaboration with Homes for Cornwall (H4C) kicks off StreetDraw 2024. H4C is a group of professionals working to make housing for all a reality in Cornwall, and we are collaborating on a book, to better tell the story of housing insecurity here and what can be done .

WORLD HOMELESS DAY

World Homeless Day is on October 10 each year and serves as a platform to advocate for improved policies and funding to help prevent and end homelessness. StreetDraw will stage an ‘unplugged’ 24-hour draw for anyone, anywhere to participate in and help us shine a light on the injustice of homelessness.

EDEN PROJECT SLEEP OUT

November 14th we’ll again support the Eden Project fundraising for St Petrocs helping adults facing homelessness in Cornwall and Amber transforming young people’s lives in Devon and other parts of the SouthWest. It’s an amazing fundraiser, find out how to take part here!

NEWQUAY DRAW

Our first Newquay 24-hour draw and exhibition will be hosted by Youth Art Connect, a community interest company that champions the therapeutic benefits of the arts. The event will be held in collaboration with their exhibition partner Saltwalls Gallery.

BOVEY TRACEY DRAW

SD24 is back in Devon - woohoo! This event will be hosted by Steve and Rachel founders of grace & favour home, on September 14th in a town well known for its creative community we are looking forward to a really beautiful event.

You don’t need to see the world to live in the world but you do need to see the world to live in it meaningfully.
