Donna Birrell has been a journalist for over 30 years, working mainly for the BBC.

She moved with her family from London to Cornwall in 2004 and while working at BBC Radio Cornwall made it her role to highlight issues of poverty and homelessness, becoming a keen supporter of St Petrocs.

Donna is passionate about Cornwall's community and is a trustee of Transformation Cornwall as well as vice-chair of Churches Together in Cornwall. She is also a trustee of W J Mills Trust which is an alms-house charity providing local housing in her home village. 

Donna now works from Cornwall as a multi-media journalist for Premier Christian Radio.
