Live in Cornwall and support the work St. Petroc's do to support those who find themselves in Cornwall and without a roof over their heads. Here I am giving my friends and family the opportunity to support St. Petroc's instead of a gift.
My sister is a volunteer for St Petrocs and when she said she was participating in this Ten Tors challenge, I jumped at the chance to join her and fundraise for this amazing charity who are working to end homelessness in Cornwall, because every person has a right to a safe and secure home.
I'm taking part in this challenge to raise funds for St Petrocs to support the work they do locally tackling homelessness
Help the homeless in Cornwall with St Petrocs
We are fundraising for St Petrocs because we believe in the mission that the charity stands for, we believe that everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home.
On the 19th May Sherry and Angela will be walking 13 miles across 10 Tors to raise money for St Petrocs who support the homeless in Cornwall.
Unbelievably, people are still sleeping rough in Cornwall with nowhere to call home. I can't imagine the impact that this has on someone's self-worth and mental health and it really shouldn't be a thing in modern society.
To support the great work to help end Homelessness.
Through volunteering with St Petrocs, I have seen what can be achieved with monies raised and I want to help St Petrocs continue with their excellent work.
I am a recovering alcoholic coming up for a year sober. When I was very poorly and vulnerable St Petrocs gave me somewhere safe and since completing treatment St Petrocs have continued to help me.
