Lois Wild joined St Petrocs in 2016 as Volunteer Coordinator and then joined the Fundraising and Communications Team helping engage people in the work of St Petrocs, supporting people experiencing homelessness in Cornwall. She became Director of Engagement in November 2023.

Lois has worked in the Voluntary and Community Sector in Cornwall for over 10 years, and prior to that undertook many voluntary roles and work. She has been motivated to support work to address poverty and marginalisation in society throughout her life. She grew up in St Ives where her family helped set up the local Open Door community resource providing food and support (and pottery lessons!) for people experiencing homelessness.

Lois’s background and education is in art, cultural studies and social science. Lois is a keen potter in her spare time and has a dog called Basil to join her on her adventures around Cornwall.
