Amanda was born in London and moved to Lancaster to study for her degree in English, Philosophy, and Sociology. After spending some time in Nottingham to study Media Production and working as a music promotor she decided to pack her bags and travel.

Living and working in the South of France until injury caused her to become homeless, she returned to Cornwall in 2005 deciding that she wanted to create change and make a difference within the community.

Joining St Petrocs in 2008 and working as a Supported Accommodation Manager before joining the Outreach team, Amanda has gained experience within both the Residential and Non-Residential Services before progressing to her current role as Associate Director of Non-Residential Services.
