I'm growing my beard and shedding kgs to raise funds and awareness for homelessness in Cornwall. As temperatures drop, the need for shelter becomes even more urgent. Join me in this "Beard for Beds" challenge to make a difference!
Live in Cornwall and support the work St. Petroc's do to support those who find themselves in Cornwall and without a roof over their heads. Here I am giving my friends and family the opportunity to support St. Petroc's instead of a gift.
St Petrocs is a Cornish charity working to help end homelessness. People can be pushed into homelessness for so many reasons. Everyone should feel they have someone they can turn to when the going gets tough and they need a helping hand.
I'll be running 50k across Cornwall from Padstow to Fowey on Saturday 7th September, following the ancient pilgrimage route known as The Saints Way. I'll be raising money for St Petrocs to support their mission to end homelessness in Cornwall, and also St Petrocs Parish Centre in Bodmin who provide a very special community drop-in every Friday morning for anyone in the area who needs a cuppa, bacon roll, and a hug. All money raised will be split 50/50 between the charities.
