We are delighted to share that we have received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for our volunteer programme. We have been working hard to revitalise our volunteer programme post pandemic and the funds awarded enable us to increase our focus on volunteering while expanding the programme and supporting volunteer costs.

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do and are integral to our organisation and the wider community, not only enabling people experiencing homelessness to reach their potential but gaining new friendships and skills themselves.

Volunteers currently provide a variety of activities and services for the people we support out of homelessness. We currently have 91 volunteers who lead activities such as art classes, IT lessons, beekeeping sessions, and fundraising.

Through this work, our clients build new friendships, develop interests and passions they previously may not have had the chance to explore. This work prepares individuals who have experienced homelessness for employment and a sustainable route out of homelessness.
