Residents of our accommodation and staff of had a great visit to Trewithen Gardens last week as part of the Vocational Development Programme activities, after being invited to share a day at the gardens to have a private tour with head gardener, Gary.

Trewithen were wonderful supporters of our St Petrocs in Bloom event last year, and with this year’s event getting well underway it was great timing to get inspired and learn from Gary.

The day also served as an opportunity for clients from other houses to meet each other and a fantastic day was had by all. ‘I really enjoyed the gardens today and meeting new people’ said one resident, while another said 'All the guys in house had a great time. Thank you for organising a wonderful event’.

To top the trip off, one of the residents enquired about volunteering for the gardens and Trewithen are kindly supporting this by assisting with travel and lunch, fuelling a horticultural interest!
